A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jasper Morrison has a minimalist approach to furniture and product design. This bottle-rack designed in 1994 uses plastic with metal ends to make an item that is both practical and attractive.
Morrison set up a design studio in London in 1986 having won a Berlin scholarship in 1985. This led to a number of interior design projects including a series of stylish architectural handles and fittings for German and Italian companies.
His work extending to street architecture - 1992 and 2006 designs for German locations featured here - along with the designs for the trams on the streets of Hanover.
Equally prominent are designs for
ceramics, furniture, accessories and
electrical products.
