Improving the toy
There can be a tendency for the crude balance point used in the early models of this toy to allow a yawing movement. This is seen as a side-to-side wobble that spoils the fluid look that the best balance toys have. A simple change to the design can improve the movement a tremendous amount and can be seen in the design pictures shown here.
